Our Doctors
Karen E. Hinkle, D.V.M.
Dr.
Hinkle was born in Evanston, Illinois. She received her
D.V.M. from the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign in 1990. Two weeks later, she married
Tom Sullivan, a 1990 Illinois graduate who now manages
Town & Country Animal Hospital after ten years at
the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Dr. Hinkle practiced in
the Chicago area for eleven years, during which time she
started a house call practice and had three children;
Brian, Claire, and Maeve.
Dr.
Hinkle and Mr. Sullivan purchased the hospital in June of 2001 after moving to Mid-Michigan from Wheaton, Illinois. She enjoys camping,
hiking, music, reading, and raising her kids and pets (currently
nine, including Dogue De Bordeaux Brandi, pictured).
Miranda Bauer,
D.V.M.
Dr.
Miranda Bauer joined the Town & Country Animal
Hospital team as Veterinary Associate in 2006. Dr. Bauer
received her Veterinary Degree from Iowa State
University. She is kept busy by her husband, four children,
one cat, one Bassett Hound, and one Havanese dog.
Dr. Bauer enjoys spending time with her family and
volunteering with school, church, and dance group
activities.

Megan Judy,
BS, LVT
Megan
and her husband, Josh, were recently married and are the
proud parents of Mr. Pig, a guinea pig! She is a
graduate of the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine's
Veterinary Technology Program, and enjoys spending time
with family and friends. Megan also likes crafting,
volunteering for the Battle Creek Historical Society,
and cooking.
